This is a used VCP from a customer return, please refer to the pictures for the condition, these show the interface in its current condition!
The set includes the complete package, i.e. VCP-Interface V2, the additional VIM package, the ESP EC60MK1 Coding Addon, the EDC16-Flash-Plugin and the EDC17-Plugin. Everything is supplied in a matching plastic case!
The package also includes 5 years of updates!
The device was purchased as a replacement for a supposedly lost interface, after two days the original device reappeared and therefore the interface offered here was returned. There is a full manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase of the returned interface!
A good tool is essential for vehicle diagnostics. The VCP system with K-Line is such a tool, which is now available in a new interface generation. The SmartCard Reader is now an integral part of the VCP+K CAN Professional interface. For you, this means that there is no need for an additional dongle. In addition, the entire hardware of the system is of a much higher quality.
The system is suitable for the diagnosis of all vehicles from the Volkswagen Group. This means that coding and adjustments can be made for Audi, VW, Skoda and Seat vehicles. A special feature of the VCP system is that you can also flash EEPROMs and even edit them in some cases. This means that in certain vehicle models (for example in the Golf 7 or the A3 8V), certain functions (for example video in motion) can be conveniently activated via a guided function (app).
But this is only a fraction of what is interesting for vehicle diagnostics. The system offers one-click functions. For you, this means that no more bits or bytes need to be adjusted in the control unit; the One Click function does this for you.
The AutoScanner makes it possible to evaluate the installed control units. For you, this means that you can explicitly identify faults including all component information. The data of individual or, if desired, all installed control units can be saved as TXT or PDF.
The ECU Flasher (via OBD2 interface) makes it possible to import flash files for all vehicles that support this. This means that any control unit can be provided with the latest firmware. The Multiflasher from release 3.7.9. allows this work to be carried out sequentially.
The system provides access to the EEPROM if the control units support it. This is either read or written. In plain language, this means that chip tuning is possible with the supported engine control units (corresponding add-on/plug-in may be required). However, a large number of other functions can also be implemented. For example, in the Golf 6, the visual display of the central locking system can be activated or deactivated using the indicators.
The VCP system also enables PR coding. For you, this means that you can activate or deactivate new functions. You do not have to carry out any coding or parameterization. The system can do this automatically. This is interesting for cruise control systems, fatigue detection or when retrofitting the entire sound system.
The WABCO programmer is available as an additional programming tool for AAS (Audi Adaptive Air Suspension). This allows the EEPROM to be adapted and the height to be adjusted individually (within the specified adjustment/working range).
The Logfinder finds the log-in codes of individual vehicles for you.
The menu can be set in multiple languages and many other additional features make this tool perfect for any vehicle diagnosis.

Since the release of version 5.0 of VCP, updates are included free of charge for 12 months, after which an extension of the update/maintenance period must be purchased separately. Otherwise, no new versions can be obtained after the maintenance period has expired. Of course, the interface also works without a current maintenance period. However, new program functions will then no longer be available to you. In addition, it is not possible to reinstall the program without a valid maintenance period!

Audi Comments:
1. A4 model 8E version B6
This model has a CAN bus-bar (TP1.6), but it is NOT connected with the diagnostics socket. The A4 model 8E version B6 can be fully diagnosed through dual K line (needs VCP+K ) using protocols KWP2000 and KWP1281.
2. A4 Model 8E, version B7 & Seat EXEO
This model has a CAN bus-bar (TP2.0). However, there is only a so called "CAN-Antrieb" connected with the diagnostics socket, which covers the engine, gear box, airbag, ABS, and Quattro drive. Additionally, it uses a dual K line. In other words, VCP fully supports diagnosis of B7 model but ONLY in the range of CAN drive (engine, gear box, airbag, abs, Quattro drive). All other drivers are available through K line (protocols KWP2000 i KWP1281) Simply, VCP + K line is needed.
